The original design of this mural was created by an individual who placed first in a contest where participants were asked to depict what recovery means to them. Amanda adapted the winning piece and helped the designer bring the vision to life. Several other individuals assisted in painting and were instrumental in capturing the beauty of this mural.

“What Recovery Means to me”

This grant funded project was a collaboration between a youth service bureau and a local school district. Amanda provided psychoeducational lessons to three different groups of students. Each group of students worked together to paint individual pieces designed and constructed by Amanda.
